Observation, Estimation, and Optimization Are Different Disciplines

Industrial combustion intelligence combines distinct technical disciplines.
Observation organizes what can be seen and reviewed. This may include flame images, video, visual overlays, process context, operator notes, and session history.
Estimation attempts to infer a condition that cannot be established from the interface alone. Validated estimation requires a governed dataset, reference measurements, an identified model version, a documented test protocol, and evidence that the output generalizes to the intended operating environment.
Optimization adds another layer. It requires a validated process relationship, plant integration, operating constraints, safety review, and clearly defined human authority. Equipment control introduces still greater engineering and governance requirements.
BurnHancer focuses on observation and decision-support workflow. BurnHancer does not replace plant instrumentation, operating procedures, or engineering judgement.
